Incluso en la guerra... - Hay amor

Nick Walshman

Last week we had a discussion in English of a very nice guy named Nick Welshman.
He spoke about customs and traditions of his country, Wales.

First he corrected our pronunciation. For example: banaaaaana.
He also gave pens and notebooks to the students would ask things and brought out volunteers, like me.

In short, it was an experience very interesting and exciting.

Good Will Hunting

Everything happened in Boston, Massachusetts and tells the story of Will Hunting, a problematic boy working as maintenance staff at a university, despite the fact of having a great knowledge and facility with higher level maths, ahead either at school, and even the country. But he spends his free time with his friends Chuckie Sullivan, Billy McBride and Morgan.

Will is able to solve a problem posed by a mathematics professor at the Technological Institute, Gerard. Professor Gerard, seeks and finds him in jail after being arrested for a street brawl. He proposes to work with him in solving mathematical problems of greatest difficulty, which may leave the prison under the supervision of a teacher, or conversely, if rejected, keep them there.

Meanwhile, Will meets a girl in a bar in Harvard, Skylar, with whom he begins an affair.
Gerard, introduces him to his friend and psychologist Sean Mcguire, to perform with him the counseling to deal with the rebellion and rejection that has to others, whom despise him. He will teach the essentials of life: learning to follow the dictates of the heart. He must learn to let go of the past and can move on with his life. It is a young man who must struggle with himself and his personal relationships, trying to solve their problems step by step so you can open up to others.
Finally helped by Sean, he leaves town and travels to California to see his girlfriend Skylar.

Dear Mr. Carlos,
I am writing because I would like to complain about his bad behavior by not allowing the teacher Jelen will take us to a trip to La Coruña next week this month.

First of all, you took your students for a trip for two school days to the beach with nothing to do with the subject.

In addition I ordered from you to give my English teacher permission to lead us to the trip.

I think you should think about their choice and take it into account for other requests.

                                                                                              Yours sincerely ,
                                                                                              Sara Fernández

Bullfighting

Recently, Cataluña passeed a law prohibiting the bullfighting. Many people do not agree with this law, but others accepted it.

On the one hand, bullfighting has been a tradition for hundreds of years, and some people say that is beautiful.

On other hand, the bulls suffer a lot, and they bleed to death in the arena. The bullfighters kill the bulls with swords, flags and cutting off their ears to get the applause of public.

In my opinion, it is true that it is a tradition but i do not like this because the animals suffer in front of many people who do nothing about it.
In short I am against bullfighting.
                                                               STOP!
